Winston Whitehead Edwards was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 27, 1966. He attended the University of Alabama and Marion Military Institute where he graduated in 1988. Mr. Edwards obtained a second degree from Huntington College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1992. He attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1996. He has practiced law in Montgomery, Alabama since his graduation from law school in 1996. In 2002, he was appointed as Special Judge of Probate for Montgomery County, Alabama where he served two terms. He is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and served on the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyer's Section in 1997-1998. His primary areas of practice focus on general litigation including construction, insurance defense, subrogation, breach of contract, and business related disputes. He has also represented physicians before the State Board of Medical Examiners' and Licensure Commission.
He is married to Suzanne Dye Edwards, who is an attorney in Montgomery, and has twin boys, Wylie and Spangler Edwards. Mr. Edwards also serves on the YMCA Camp Chandler Board of Directors. He and his family are members of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Montgomery, Alabama.
