Dave Routzon joined Craddock, Davis & Krause in 2005. Mr. Routzon handles a variety of litigation matters for firm clients, with emphasis on trial work in state courts. Mr. Routzon has recently successfully defended clients such as General Motors Corporation and Palm Harbor Homes, Inc. in various trials and arbitrations.
Following graduation from the State University of New York, College at Oswego in 1990, Mr. Routzon relocated to Texas where he spent 7 years as a public school teacher in the Keller I.S.D., north of Fort Worth where he taught 6th grade English and World History. During this time, Mr. Routzon piloted a peer mediation program with the students and was active in the district's mentoring program.
Thereafter, Mr. Routzon entered law school, graduating in 2001 and started his practice of law as an associate for a law firm in Bedford, Texas. Mr. Routzon's practice has also included defense work for various insurance entitles and nationally known businesses. His practice also included representing individuals in various personal injury and related matters.
Mr. Routzon received his law (J.D.) degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, placing as a finalist in the law school's moot court competition. He also participated in a number of moot court competitions and was a member of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, including participation on the Board of Editors.
Mr. Routzon is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Routzon is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the Tarrant County Bar Association.
